That car was the original XP code Hemi pilot car that was seen in the factory photos. I have heard that after they used the car for photos, and testing the car went to the proving ground for crash testing. The stripe was put on after the stripe design was finalized. The XP car Kiesler had was a later VIN sequence number than this car.
 
The tag on the last picture that has 475 on it, Was that how fast it was going when it hit the barrier?

The test concluded that if you hit a solid immovable object at 100 mph in a second generation Charger there would be no survivors in the car.
 
Interesting how it's all painted white underneath. I wonder what that was for. I was curious of the same thing about my car, much of the undercarriage up front had white paint under the grime.
 
Seen that quite a few times now....

It doesn't get any easier, with more viewings either...
