Cruizing it never happens, but if i get hard on it, and let off, the ignition drops out. Atleast i think its the ignition. During its stumble, its not responsive to the throttle. Take it to neutral and start it back up. It might run a little rough at first but continues on perfectly fine. It only happens once on my cruises around town. Get on it again and it does fine afterwards.
This started after a test and tune session on the dyno. It started burning up mopar ignition modules before i stepped up to a MSD ignition box. When it would stumble is when i would fry an ignition module. Luckily, the MSD box is alot more rugged and handle it. Car had no issues prior to the dyno visit. All wiring is new from full restoration 2 years ago. Running a fairly new Firecore distributor (Dec.) and new coil. Power and ground for the ignition module is hooked directly to the battery. Igntion on wire comes from the ignition run and start wires. Any ideas?
Wiring looks good. Pulled the dist. cap and everything looks good. Magnetic pickup is reading the correct ohms. Could it be alternator or voltage regulator related?
