greetings!!!
today is my first day on the b body forum. I am just getting started in mopars vehicles. while some will not like my card or plans, I am trying to gain knowledge. I am only a traditionalist is the fact I try to keep mopar in mopar, not necessarily numbers matching. I have a 1950 Plymouth special deluxe. the original engine died, so it is getting a 318 and 999 trans. I also have a 1940 Plymouth truck. it is getting a desoto 291 hemi and 833 4 speed.

Welcome to the forum......

Nice vintage rides you have and thanks for posting pics!

Welcome to FBBO! We don't give a rip if you want to do nothing, or everything to your rides, we just want you to do it HERE so we can help, and enjoy the journey!!

I personally care about each and every ones rides. They must all be original and in great visual and mechanical condition. They must all be numbers matching and must all not have gigantic 20 inch rims. Just kidding on all but the 20 inch rims..

Welcome aboard from NJ. Nice pair you have there, Best of luck with them.

welcome to FBBO from NorCal Sierras

Welcome to FBBO from SoCal - your cars so you build them like you want them not like what someone else wants.

Love your 50!
My grandfather had a gray 50 deluxe that he drove to work, and took me to school in when I spent the weekend.
One day while washing it, i noticed the hood ornament was upside down, from the factory. Nobody h ad noticed for fifteen years. It ran well, but my grandpa traded it in on a new 67 belair, for the auto trans, he got too old for the clutch and three on the tree.
Twenty five years later, I saw a 50 in my little college towns downtown area. Sure enough, my grandpa's 50. Still had the upside-down emblem.
