Just watched the episode where there talking what car their doing for SEMA .. my guess is it looks like he's doing Christine

I do not know older Chrysler looks but the curved shaped wing vent caught my eye.

With a Hellephant!

A Desoto Adventurer would be cool. Hardly anybody does anything with the Desoto lineup

yep something old & a 59 is my guess
with the wing vent window shape

59 Desoto Fireflite,
What ever it is, it's a 'Hard top' it looked like too
but there are others with that wing vent window shape
59 DeSoto Fireflight.jpg

Desoto or Dodge, maybe a 59 Plymouth Fury HT
59 Fury 2 dr HT Turquoise.jpg

here's 59 Dodge D500
59 Dodge D500 Bandito H-AS or G-AS AHRA & NHRA Unbeaten 1962-1964 Recod holder.jpg

Probably a Desoto 58/59

I'm guessing it's a '58 Fury from his Christine reference ("Run Moochie"). Although he also said something about it being the first of it's kind, so that wouldn't fit. I agree that it's going to be something like what we're all guessing, here. That would be cool - something really different.

I was trying to place the vent window too. I bet yall are correct

I’m not sure I get it, seems like a waste of a Fury and a 1000hp crate. It will definitely be one of a kind.

@FU64RY - You don’t think it’ll be one of a kind?
It will be a one of a kind it will NOT be a waste of a car whatever it is.
I'm going with Dodge or Desoto, Fury has been done a lot.

Pretty sure it's a 58 Plymouth hard top from the wing glass and the interior lights you could see.

A little off topic but is it just me or was this last season rather bad. I am unsure of what exactly happened with Dave Rea, but I enjoyed his style of explaining what he was doing. And yes I am aware of the fact he has his own shop now, I have spoken to him but he did not dish any dirt on GYC.

I totally agree on how bad it was, it is the price we have to pay as Worman's antics must be displayed or we wouldn't have what little true content would ever be shown.

Definitely a '57 or '58 Plymouth 2 door hardtop based on the vent window and the headliner. And I'm sure it'll be a Christine clone since he referenced Moochie.

Just saw it tonight. 1958 Plymouth, red just like Christine. Putting the "gifted from mopar" new 1,000 hp Hemi in it.

A Desoto would have been better. But, he's a movie nut

I still could have thought of 10 different better projects
to put the 1st Hellephant crate 1000hp in...

I like the 57-58 Fury's/Sports Fury's too
just more of a cruiser style car, than a 1000hp candidate

should be interesting
even if it's Mark doing it :poke:

I would have liked to see them re-create the 1970 RT convertible they just completed for Brett Torino and put the Hellephant in it. Oh well, the fury will be cool. We shall see how it unfolds.
