The TCI part # you gave on TCI's website says 1500 rpms over stock. I'm not real sure what stock is but I have a pretty radical cam for the street in my 68 Dart GTS now with a Hughes built 451 stroker. I think this could be what I'm looking for. I added the suggested Cam for my intended street/strip use, knowing the converter in the car probably wouldn't work. It's a bear to drive on the street and instant tire spin at the strip. I know you want to sell your converter, but I would like your opinion. Do you think this will help? I know I need another converter, just not sure how much stall.
