70 graduation present

I really enjoyed you r build thread hsorman. I skimmed through it, but it looks like you did an amazing job. I looked for more pics of your firewall hole issue. I didn't see what the final solution was. It looks like you went with a different boost set up.
I now have discovered that I have the same hole in firewall problem. I bought the kit from the same comapny that you did.
I'm waiting until Monday to give them a call

Sorry, not remembering: Which firewall hole issue? (I did a fair amount of closing up old holes, adding new ones, etc....)

hsorman, on your original thread, you poat an issue about the boost that The Right Stuff sent you. It's post #440-447
I was just wondering how you resolved the issue. It looks like you scrapped the booster that came in the kit, and went with an original style

Correct. The power brake booster was not a standard style booster that would have come with a 383 or 440 car. I have a faint memory that perhaps it was used for Hemi cars due to interference issues with the big ol' elephant motor - but don't hold me to that.
Either way, I purchased a booster shown in the post 447 picture and then I was finally satisfied with the result. See post 477 for the details on the booster.

I still have that other booster laying on my parts shelves!
