I have a 496 inch RB engine in my '65 Coronet with a Lakewood bellhousing and a Doug Nash 5 speed. Nothing off the shelf fits my combination but I was able to modify a set of Schumacher tri-y headers to work. The flanges needed to be cut off and then the pipes were extended down and back. I then added thick three bolt flanges rather than the two bolt flanges that the headers come with. This has been in and out of the car a few times and so far everything goes in and out without much problem.

At one time I had 2" TTI headers in my '68 Dart with a 493" RB. What a PITA. I just finished building a low deck 470" to replace the RB and used the Schumacher headers. Difference is day and night. Easy install and fit great. However, I to, wish they came with the three bolt flanges. I've never had good luck keeping the ball/socket sealed. I'll probably modify them simular to yours in the future......when the chrome turns purple, blue, brown and flakes off.
Those TTI headers are now in my '65 Belvedere. I can now change the starter without pulling the engine.
I assume you're using FI. Which bung are you using for the o2 sensor? Or both?

Nice. These have the 2.5" collectors?

Yes, 2.5 inch collectors. The exhaust system will be 2.5 inches to the back bumper. I had 3 inch on the car but it took up a little too much space so I decided to downsize to 2.5 inch.

Yes I'm using EFI. A Holley Sniper to be exact. Not sure on which bung I'll use yet, whichever one works the best I suppose.
