68... sorry I forgot to put it in the headline. It was an Elko, NV dodge dealer's truck, so I'm the 2nd registered owner.Very nice. Got me thinking, what was the D100 383 powered truck? Maybe 1969?
Dodge came out with a performance model with a 383 4 barrel. Not Prospector, or Interceptor. They are like finding hens teeth today. If anyone has a better memory than me...let me know. Looking at your truck made me think of it. I don't think they were a one dealer creation like Mr. Norms. It was basically a Lil Red Truck kinda edition.68... sorry I forgot to put it in the headline. Mine's orig 383 2bbl ran really nice with its 3.55 Sure Grip, but that's on a stand now. Its new 383 has a LOT more torque & power so hope to be able to smoke the big drag radials!Dodge came out with a performance model with a 383 4 barrel. Not Prospector, or Interceptor. The truck I'm thinking of was a 1 year offering with the 383 4 bbl. When I remember it, you'll be the first to know!Mine's orig 383 2bbl ran really nice with its 3.55 Sure Grip, but that's on a stand now. Its new 383 has a LOT more torque & power so hope to be able to smoke the big drag radials!

Cool. It'd be great to see an orig photo of one. My 71 W100 was a 318 but we put a 70 383 from my Challenger in it. The early 64 CSS trucks with 426's were really cool. Not many around. The truck I'm thinking of was a 1 year offering with the 383 4 bbl. When I remember it, you'll be the first to know!
