Yes, I see that too, the eyelet is attached to the bulkhead and is about to fall off.

Electrical on these older cars are pretty simple, your missing main power or ground. What is that other eyelet that i seen in your picture?
No I don't have one of these but I will pick one up.

connect that wire to the positive and your power should return

yes the one that has the two big wires

Tried it and it didn't work. The car was OK before and that wire wasn't attached to anything?

then some one has bypassed it with the one that goes through your firewall,find that one under you dash and see where is goes.
