What a weekend... have been stressed out a little from putting on a car show, then got a bad infection three days prior to the show, and so I decided that I wanted to go to a local cars and coffee to get some video of a burnout before I install the new engine.
A guy is standing there with a camera on a tripod, I ask him if I can get the video file from him after, he says "yes, just go up and see my wife at the computer" and he hands me his card. I get a great burnout going, toy with it a little, and then drive off, around the building to come back and get my video.
Nope. He apparently didn't hear me say "video" and wanted to sell me a still of my car for $20. So I hand my smartphone to a friend and say, "can you work one of these?" He says, sure and I set it up and hand it to him.
I do another decent burnout, tires are getting warm and sticky, and come back around to find that he kept touching the button so he got several short videos, but had his fingers over the lens the whole time.
Back for a third time, and I was already thinking everyone's getting tired of this crap, and didn't think to drop the shifter into low... so it upshifted during the burnout and then the tires were too sticky. This is what I ended up with. lol
