anyone tried this combo on 66-67 for fit with the hood? motor is assembled just looking for heads up on hood clearance and how much scoop height is needed if necessary?

I would say with a 440 and a Victor intake you're going to need a scoop. Looks like the Victor is about an 1/2" taller than a Performer RPM. I have a 440 with an RPM and it's tight, had get creative with the air cleaner and kick down linkage.

I was looking at a 66 with 440 and factory intake on the weekend. I think the carb boss is at least 4" taller on the victor! want to run the 67 scoop but it doesn't have much height at rear!maybe this intake will be paired with the drag block I'm selling!

If it helps I run a M1 intake with breather and can close my hood make sure use a bolt to hold air breather to carb its real close a carb stud and nut wont work I know.

thanks, will keep that one in mind. guess we'll just run the car without a hood first and get some measurements. see how it works and then play with intakes as necessary!

You'll need a scoop. I ran one on my 67 belvedere and there's no way it fits without a hole.

For your measurements:
Under the hood is a INDY Single Plane with a 1" spacer under the Dominator...now if you get the measurement of the INDY Single Plane and compare it to a Edelbrock Victor ( I presume you mean at 440 Victor) and then see if the Dominator is any taller than a 4150 carb then you got it.
I had to use Hemi Style 5" scoop to get the needed clearance which is about 2.5" space between the air horn of the carb and the inside lid of the scoop.
The bottom pix shows the INDY intake, 1" spacer and the 4500 carb

I used a drop base air cleaner

I'm actually wondering about a shaker! I like the hemi hood on some installs, but prefer the lower ones, and they likely don't give much clearance at carb location.
I've never seen a 66-7 with a shaker anybody good with photoshop.

Chip Foose did a 66-67 charger on his overhaulin show and installed a shaker setup on a hemi on it. Check that out for the shaker look on a 66-67 hood setup.

I took a look and foosed that idea! I have a new idea! The old moto-ski sonic sled hoods look like it might suit the car cut down a bit! I know someone doing repops for oval track racers and I could probably have one layed up that is the proper height and get some body line style features added to the side of lay up.
