Since this is the Daytona/Superbird Forum page, I figured I'd create a tread. I'd like to know what car you like over the other and what's better/best out of the two. In my personal opinion, I really cannot decide. I really love both, but if I had to choose, I would say the Superbird. (Sorry I'm a Plymouth guy) I'd like to hear from you. Post comments, opinions, etc.

The Daytona as I get the bird at least twice a week on I-10

I like both

My work in progress

If you were going to give me one or the other it would be the Daytona because it's a more valuable car but all things being equal, I would say I like the bird better

The Daytona, but only because I don't think a vinyl roof belongs on a race car!

Both are awesome cars but given a choice between two (equally equipped) winged cars, Daytona.

To me, I like both about the same.....but never really cared for the look except when they were in full race trim for the oval tracks :D After all, that's the reason they were built and they didn't look all too cool in street dress to me however I do like them much better these days vs when they first showed up on the street.

Hey if I could find a Daytona for what I paid for this..... I'd have both. Still think the Bird "flows" better from a view point!

I love my Bird, but never had an opportunity to obtain a Daytona. In restoring my Superbird, I found that the aerodynamics were actually better on the Bird from the test results I read. The Daytona with its Charger base is beautiful but not quite as slippery. My first new car was a Plymouth so I'm a Plymouth man forever.

I've had 3 70 Satellites and 1 70 RR, so I'm a Birdman !!!!!

The Daytona was first out of the womb.
The Bird is part Dodge anyways. Coronet front fenders... where the Daytona is all Dodge from the getgo

Opinions are useless. There's only one scientific way to answer the question.Give me one of each model. Let me drive both for awhile, say 20 years or so. Then I can give a valid viewpoint.
