Holy crap! The Coyote Johnson collection auction...

She stated that they are moving them to the fairgrounds. That's going to be a feat in itself with probably none of them running or holding air in their tires. What a job!
Same auction company had an auction near by just a few years ago. 40-50 or more " collectable cars " in about the same condition as these. The cars had to be moved to a fairgrounds there too. The auction company hired some local guys to try to get all the cars running and cleaned up a little. It took them a few months... Now that had to be called a collection . because the seller was a rich owner of an Insurance company ....LOL.......................MO

sorry
I even brought up the damn 'hoarders' word :poke:
that's how I see it...

some people are truly overly sensitive about this subject,
go to the ends of the damn world, to make your point...

buyers beware

Like I said;
Have fun if you're going, hope some can be saved...

Call it what you want. When people start to say what other people should do with their personal possessions is where the problems come in. Stick your nose where it don't belong and it's liable to get busted.

I didn't stick anything including my nose where it doesn't belong...

This is a car forum & discussion board...

Everyone is liable to get busted, disagree a time or 10, more like

Didnt mean for my reply to seem aimed at you. When people say he should have sold all those cars and just bought one... that aint none of their business. When people criticize how they are stored... that aint none of their business. Its the guys money and his cars and his buildings. He can do whatever the hell he wants with it.

I agree with you on getting eyes on the cars before buying. That should be the golden rule on buying anything of value.

that was my entire point from my first post on this topic..
now theres some irony.

theres also this word called discussion and another one called debate.

agreed,correct.
When people criticize how they are stored... that aint none of their business.
cannot agree,it WAS his business and now its being spread all over the internet as a sale.
so its everyones business now.

Condition means a lot as you well know,
and just because they were in a pole barn doesnt mean the mice wont be having family receptions every night in the backseat or glovebox of that mopar.
again,
i point out that some cars have been found so covered in bird sh!t that the buyers walk away.
those too,were inside barns..and shelters.

that being said,id like to echo budnicks sentiment that at least these cars will be bought and saved instead of laying around for another 30 plus years.
that,Is a Win.

I am not seeing any cars covered in **** on this video but maybe i missed it.

Cars will be bought and saved? Looks like he "saved" them already. They are not rotting away in some back yard carport or in a fencerow somewhere. How do you know they wont end up in another "hoarders" collection waiting its turn to be restored?

i swear,you just wanna fight..lol.
you should spend more time on this topic talking your local buddies into going to this and maybe getting a car,or parts eyh.
well,in real life you have your opinion i have mine.
ill play along and reply to your latest.

i didnt say there was a single car in This vid had bird poop on it.
but i wouldnt be surprised, would you?

he saved them yes for others,to Finally do something with.
otherwise they woulda sat there another 30 years, right?
see, thats why some of us call them Hoarders.

far as quality of storage well, lets be real,
till you are there next to the cars looking under them,at them and Smelling them,
i wouldnt say they are museum pieces..lol

the only part you did get right is yes, another hoarder with money might score more cars.
bring those friends of yours and keep that from happening :steering:

Yep. I dont care for people that come on here and bitch about how someone enjoys the hobby in their own way. I dont care for people that think their way is the only way and pass judgement on someone else.
If you have a 68 Runner and are happy i am happy for you and would love to hear about your car. If someone has an old 4 door or old station wagon i like to hear the stories about them. None of the above are anything i desire to own and wont mock someone for spending money on them.
Seems some around here feel the need to put others down. I dont know if that makes them feel better about themselves? Sure not picking any fights....just dont understand.

And yes i could qualify as a hoarder or a collector. I am always trying to upgrade and improve what i have. I like having them around and enjoy some of the people i have met along the way.

Not picking a fight. Just dont understand the bashing.

I still don't get it. Why do people have to be so negative about something that should be regarded as " good news" Why the critisism about how a video is made, and how the cars were stored, and why the owner did whatever he did? Why bring up a debate on whether it is a persons collection or if the person is a hoarder? IMO a collection may eventually be sold or passed on to someone else. --- a hoard is obtaining everything possible with no intent of ever selling til the day the hoarder dies. Bottom line is, a person owns these cars and he selected an auction company to sell them. If it doesn't concern you, what right do you have to be negative about it? Like Mom said, " if you can't say something good, don't say anything at all" ...............................MO

this is ridiculous..yall need to get off the high chair and face reality
this IS a discussion forum, topic=replies which are opinions.

its my opinion that the vid is not up to par.
it is my opinion And buds apparently that the chicks voice was quite nasal.
i have posted My opinion of the Differences between a hoarder and a collector.

at no point did i ever say the chick was no good, her company sucks,
or anything else Bashing her or her company.
how about this instead.
how about You stop trying to Label everyones opinion that Doesnt match yours as Bashing?
see,now That would be Logical and even somewhat reasonable, dont you think?

and ill even say this to you,im Sure my vids suck, and sound nasally as well....Ok??
do you Get the Point?

The cars don't appear to be in bad shape, and atleast he tried to keep them out of the weather. It sure looks like
he knew what cars to buy. Some people would look at my hoard and say the same thing. I have started down sizing my collection. I have sold off eight project cars, but I bought four other cars. I still have a few more that I plan on cutting loose. I had twenty five of them at one point. I have to update my list to get an accurate count.
