Graveyard Carz Show Host

I wish Ant Anstead from Wheeler Dealers was a Mopar guy. He is a great mechanic and a pleasure to listen to.

I really hate to see anything happen to that show but I have always cringed over his antics and damn near can't stand to watch that show any longer because it's taking too much away from the importance of the show, also people with the type of money that employ this twerp prob don't employ his stupidness. Plus where have the original employees gone? And it's not funny.

8 3/4 Dana...8 3/4 Dana...WTF.....someone needed to slap the commentator:nutkick:. Don't care for Mark's antics, like his knowledge of Mopars, there's more to cousin Dougie than they let on, Curious George is a very good fabricator/body man, Alyssa......useless:monkeyleft:, just eye candy for guys that like the type(no offense guys), Will's a great painter and seems frustrated at times with Mark's antics, wish Royal was on more since he seems more calm and much less antics. Miss Dave Rea, very knowledgeble. Love the CARS!

I really enjoyed the episode about the dukes of hazzard jump car they reserected, especially when Mark turned up in the cop car chasing down the old general lee! it was hilarious as far as l was concerned and you've got to admit the guy definitely knows his stuff

I like Ant as well but prefer Mr China the original mechanic on the show. Hes the real deal the only thing I don't like about the show is when they sell a car on they mention what everything costs to get it into pristine condition but they never tell you how much it costs for labor! that really bugs me

I like the show, I like Mark. He is like Donald Trump in that he knows how to push peoples buttons. Those that think he is arrogant are NOT paying close enough attention. He has creative control of the show so if he wanted, he could edit out every flaw or mistake like other shows do. He leaves them in place because he is not afraid to look silly or "human".
He dances and I laugh. He looks at the camera with a smirk and I laugh. I understand the man and his show because I am very much like him. Those that do not appreciate his antics are the same types of people that I have dealt with my entire life. I make jokes to random strangers and maybe 1 in 10 "get the joke". I play pranks on co-workers, family and friends and most respond with blank stares. Most people seem to be programmed to avoid attention getting behavior that guys like Mark and I engage in. I think that the world would be a very boring place without guys like him.
All due respect, but there is a difference.
I love interacting with folks and having a good time also - and yes, most folks aren't programmed like that.
The difference is with Worman, there's a mean edge to it - the arrogance isn't an act.
You can be outgoing and want to playfully interact with folks, catch them off guard and have fun with that -
heck, that's the southern way! - but typically we do so with proper respect and humility.
He doesn't. He thinks he's the smartest guy in every room he enters - and he may very well be at times,
but you don't need to act like it.
Belittling others playfully is one thing. MEANING it is quite another.

The price of their labor is the profit they make on selling the car, which sometimes is not very much.

i quit watching when dave left. the only parts on the show i like are the assembly sections

OP should have seen season 1 if he thinks it's bad now.....

I like the show for the Mopars. I put up with the rest of it. I like when Tony D. Comes on the show and proves Mark wrong a lot of the times. It's a t.v. show. None of them are perfect. At least they are all Mopars and not the same ole 10 day turn around deadlines, big stupid 22" wheels and 2 tone paint jobs or ghey stripes. (Notice I spelled it not to offend anyone).

Sort a like telling the same joke too many times. The antics on occasion with some relevance yeah funny. Some guys who are on camera can get a bit uptight while others wouldn't want to go on camera. Having been videoed several times for training I do, much as I've had to do it, puts a little edge on things at first anyway. Watching the show maybe a dozen times I found wanting to see more on the tough work, craftsmen stuff that's not in a manual. On one episode didn't need to see five plus minutes of how to set gaskets and proper torqueing of heads. Too bad show never does older mopars least never have seen this.

I could watch Curious George and Will do metal replacement, body work and painting the whole show. More on the rest of all the parts and final assembly would be better also.

Wondering if its just me or if others feel similarly about Mark W. the host/owner of this show/shop. I personally don’t care for his attitude and antics. I would like to see more work and sharing of knowledge than the BS Motor Trend is dishing up. Don’t get me wrong having fun is a natural part of this hobby and having a sense of humor is important. If anyone is familiar with Chris Birdsong (Junkerup) he would be so much better. He is real unlike Mark who’s humor looks forced and contrite. Seems like Motor Trend could do a lot better I MHO.
Not sure if this is his real demeanor or if it's just Hollywood. I know it wouldn't take long for me to pack up my tools and give him the Super Bird.. :upyours:

I think Worman is an asshat. I would rather have Dave Rea host a show like GYC. Dave talks in an even voice explains how things work, and he gives great tips. Do people need the BS that Worman does. I get that he is knowledgable, but his attitude, and antics are tough to take. It looks like they make some of these shows for entertainment, and not much else.

I thought in the past he came on this site and posted what happened to him

The forums crybaby returns to spread his blanket of foul stench!

To these networks these days, they try to cookie cutter all the "reality" type shows the same way.
Manufactured drama, lather, rinse, repeat.
If there is no actual drama, make some up. It's great for ratings!

Uhhhh, not so much. I absolutely hate that sort of lowest common denominator programming approach.
It's very insulting to even the most moderate of intelligence of viewers and it needs to stop.
