Graveyard Carz Show Host

To these networks these days, they try to cookie cutter all the "reality" type shows the same way.
Manufactured drama, lather, rinse, repeat.
If there is no actual drama, make some up. It's great for ratings!

Uhhhh, not so much. I absolutely hate that sort of lowest common denominator programming approach.
It's very insulting to even the most moderate of intelligence of viewers and it needs to stop.
Exactly! It would be unique and refreshing to have a show without all that premeditated drama. The networks seem to think they have a recipe for success starting with the Osborns. The executives need to figure out the content folks want and not push this **** out on all these same recipe shows. Its tiresome insulting and a waste of time.

it`s the Drama they like remember they write scripts

Please remember guys....these people that we 'tar and feather' may actually be members here....albeit in disguise and with whacky handles.

It makes you wonder. Initially I liked Orange County Choppers. They showed a lot of great fabrication techniques and ideas. But it became a real drama-fest and it really detracted from what made it good to me. But the ratings probably picked up because of that. Unfortunately we here who like the technical work are averaged into the ratings of the rest of the population. But I believe as content becomes more abundant the network will realize that a more niche approach will better serve them in the long run. Its really clear after seeing so many comments here.

It's all for entertainment ....not for the serious restorer. Do you honestly think that Justin aka @moparnation74 put any credence by the workmanship or skill levels portrayed on any of those shows...?

Here is a full script I prepared for a future episode of West Side Sloppers.....

There are shows that feature more work and less drama.

Wheeler Dealers

Full Custom Garage

Even Garage Squad

Full Custom Garage is really good, I like the shop inspector.

If they do, then great way to learn how they could improve their episodes. Maybe it's slanted to those who can actually afford to buy the cars they rebuild to add them to their collection.

Not only that but I really like what you are doing on youtube and IG Chris! Really wish you all the best you have a great attitude and knowledge!!

35 years ago we would have killed for a show like this on PBS. Don't knock it too hard.

Until the "Buzzard Beek" builds a car that wins a "Certified Gold" trophy, then all his show is for is strictly entertainment......Remember, he claims they build cars just like the day they rolled out of the assembly line...... I have yet to see one......There is "zilch" the guy provides for me.....

Granted they have done better on their paint and body work in comparison to the past.....They also install a bazillion reproductions parts on their restorations.......Is there anything wrong with that, of course not but what's wrong is his inaccurate claims.....Which in turns leads the "lay" audience to believe they are the best and they build cars exactly like mine......Which they clearly do not......

Just stop with inaccurate claims and just build nice cars........Also, limit the shenanigans......

8 3/4 Dana...8 3/4 Dana...WTF.....someone needed to slap the commentator:nutkick:. Don't care for Mark's antics, like his knowledge of Mopars, there's more to cousin Dougie than they let on, Curious George is a very good fabricator/body man, Alyssa......useless:monkeyleft:, just eye candy for guys that like the type(no offense guys), Will's a great painter and seems frustrated at times with Mark's antics, wish Royal was on more since he seems more calm and much less antics. Miss Dave Rea, very knowledgeble. Love the CARS!

Lots of threads on this. I think he acts like an asshole making faces for the camera. I put up with it due to love for the Mopar brand. The assembler has good tips.
^^^ what he said ^^^
is it has MoPars
Yep only reason why I always DVR it, then watch, Fast fwrd thru the BS

Dave Rea (spelling ?) is gone now,
he & Will are or both were, the best part of the past couple seasons
I enjoy the daughter Alysia (spelling?) too

albeit;
the show has gotten' a little better, each year
but still way too much of 'the grab-*** lame BS, what I call Mark-isms'

it's his show, all on his buck, so he does what he wants
the Network seems to like the crap too, buys it & airs it

Just maybe ?
it helps keep the non-car people entertained or watching still

I'd also like to see more about the cars & technical aspects
it is the only MoPar specific show on TV
Or I wouldn't even care...

it's called constructive criticism
I have to agree with Justin @moparnation74 on this one
