Bought a 67 J code GTX last week. A very cool, low mileage driver. Went to Barrett-Jackson with good credit and some cash, I won the GTX. Last on my list of cars I was looking at. Wrote the lot number down, what they were, and my max bid. Passed on every one.

I have a few other cars, all GM. When my dad died in 84, I had a picture of my dad and his 67 Hemi Satellite. It was only a matter of time until I found what I was looking for. A number two low mileage driver.

Oh yeah, I'm a 47 year old mechanic and shop owner. Married 26 years, dad to a daughter, and keep two of the biggest losers in the world, my Cane Corsos, Jack and Jill.

Welcome Andy!

Can't say that I know anyone who bought a car at BJ. Looks like a nice score by the engine compartment.

More pics please

As you can probably guess, I am a huge Davis Spade fan. Joe Dirt mostly. Tommy Boy was hard to watch. The second owner camped out at the car for three days at Barrett. After she told me the car had been in her family since 1990 I asked her if I could buy her Hemi. Did just that.

. The Cert card and broadcast sheet were stolen after a breakin in 2006. With the carb tags. Every date code and date code is on point. And amazingly enough everything works. The tach is a little sticky at 6300, but a tap returns it back to where it is supposed to be.

I'll get more pics up when I get time.

Welcome from Alabama. Nice car, rare color. Wish my 67X had the PS. The factory disks are a great option and mine has them too. 4-speed, or automatic?
