I'm looking for correct rubber bushings that go on the bar, not the end links. I have looked on e-bay, Classic, Year One and a general Google search. The original bushing the hole is offsest more towards the bar. What I am finding and also what I have on the car is the hole in fairly centered. This causes the bar to hit the bracket that bolts to the K member. The bushing on my car now is from MOOG and the hole is centered. I don't want to go Poly, although the poly looks correct, but the reasoning is the brackets have an angle to them and I'm sure the poly won't conform to the angle. Any suggestions ?

MOOG is what I have, the part fits but is not correct and the bar hits the bracket.

I tried both Firm Feel and SteerandGear. I didn't see anything in SteerandGear and Firm Feel makes their own bars and the brackets are really different than the OEM ones. What's odd is Year One has OEM appearing reproduction brackets but doesn't have the rubber bushing.

Hopefully someone will chime in who's restored their suspension to oem and has found the bar bushings..

I couldn't find correct bushings for my '65 Barracuda Formula "S", but found some generics that do the job perfectly-not what you want, I know, but sometimes we have to make do.

I know what you're saying. Yes I'd like to find something original but I know the originals are dried up and the aftermarket isn't the best with some parts. The MOOG on the car now are modified so they work. I guess I may have to live with them. I looked in the Factory Parts Manual, there isn't even a parts number listed for the B or E body.

If I remember correctly, on my A body the bushing exterior was metal and welded to the bar, almost as if they were not even designed to be replaced.

I'll do post in the wanted section for one.

Yes, the Moog rubber versions are not correct. Poly versions of that bushing with the correct location are fairly common, rubber OE type not so much. If you find it, let me know. What angle do you describe? The polys do fit mine just fine, are you sure your brackets aren't bent?

I suppose they could be bent. I assumed since both brackets have the same angle to them that's the way they were meant to be.

Have yet to come across an original bracket that had not been knocked rearward by contact with a high curb or something. Pretty easy to straighten them out.

That's awesome, thank you for the pic. I will be straightening mine. I always thought because they were bent equally that's how they came. Now to find an original bushing. I have one still, need one more, or I'll go poly.
