hello everyone!

Im currently helping my dad with his newest project: a 74 Plymouth Satellite we picked up late last year. The previous owner took care of much of the exterior work and made it into a roadrunner GTX clone/tribute car. It originally was a 318 auto car, but they also swapped in a 440/4speed combo.

We are currently in the middle of rebuilding the car, and just last week we got the engine out. The plan is to create a fun street vehicle that isn’t a slouch at the strip either - and to enjoy and document the build each step of the way.

I’m looking forward to learning from and contributing to this forum. I’ve been reading threads for the last couple of months, but as this build gets underway I figured it was as good a time as any to sign up!

Looks like a fun project. Welcome to the site. I've never seen a 74 Satellite. But I'm guessing it can't be much different than a RR? So many options and directions. Please keep feeding status updates.

Mighty fine looking car if I do say so myself.....

Welcome you and Dad should have lots of fun

Thanks everyone for the warm welcome. Once I get some more pictures and a plan for the build I’ll be sure to post up a build thread!

Welcome from the show me state!!
