Hey guy's, I need to touch up some white letters on my tires, what's the best product to use?
I need something that will fill in some small porosity in the tire at the letters along
the lines of some kind of paint! thank you, Dave

Clean with paint thinner first.

I use this, works like magic! Spray on a rag or microfiber towel and rub the letters.

If you need to fill in then I use this.

Thanks for the replies guy's, after doing some research and watching videos at work last night is that my conclusion is the paint will probably crack
at some time because of the hard shell paint makes and the flexing of the rubber. Tire lettering paint needs to be made just for rubber and it has to be able to give to keep from cracking. Heck the shoe polish thing makes more sense because it's made for vinyl shoes which has some flexing while you walk. I don't like that all the lettering paint is just too white. I think I'm going to have to experiment on some old tires and first thing is I'm going to try the Markal "b" cause it looks more like a crayon than it does paint. What about shops that mix paint maybe they can mix up off white or white for just strictly for rubber bumpers like they has back in the day!
I would love to see how the tire manufacture nowadays put the white lettering on the say Goodrich T/A radials. Thanks, Dave
