Great day ,
but I'm Hemi-less :blah:

In my opinion, owning a MOPAR HEMI puts the owner in the enviable position of being able to claim the "epitome engine" of the entire muscle car era.
There were some that were "factory rated" as having higher HP and torque, but in a well documented dyno contest where blueprinting was basically the only performance enhancement allowed, some of the best known legendary engines of the era were tested and the 426 Hemi came out on top, by a significant margin.
My 440 6bbl is an exceptional experience and I'm glad to have it, but the HEMI, when taken to its highest level of performance, stands head and shoulders above ALL of the rest.

If anyone disagrees with that premise, just ask them what type of engine every top fuel dragster and funnycar uses - the fastest accelerating machines ever made. I'll give you a clue - it ain't a small block chevy. Hasn't even been a dynamometer made to measure the horsepower they make. I guess most estimates range between 10,000 to 14,000!

^^^ it's 1st Lady Melania Trump's Birthday (49) too 4-26 ^^^

great day all around :poke:
