What Do You Like/Or Dislike About Carlisle?

The heat is a major factor, heat stroke!!!!! They should let the Mopar crowd get the spring or fall slot for a change.love the show but find it hard to really enjoy when every other thought is holy f@*k its hot.

Resto Nazi’s that love shoving there high and mighty “My car is better” up your *** while pointing out every posssssssible flaw. Even when it was actually built that way.

And yea, I know I know nothing.... thanks...

Would not miss it. We flew out there in 98 to check out the show. We were so impressed that we have taken a car to the show every year after that. It is a 700 mile each way trip for us, but for the few years that we have driven an old car, the trip is as exciting as the show. Really looking forward to this year as we are joining the Rapid Transit Tour to continue the fun for an additional week. We have made so many friends there through the years, it is almost like going to a family reunion.

I have been every year since 1992. I never miss it. The best show by far.

droptop, Is this your car from your profile pic? I took it last year in 2018, when they had "50 Years Of The Roadrunner."

HEAT.. being an old grey beard the walking in the heat gets to you .... Has been a few years since I went, but the last time I went I had a folding chair tied to a two wheel dolly, worked out well

when my knees ached to much or got over heated I popped out the chair wherever I was ( when your old you can do that.:) ) dolly also came in handy for a couple of purchases ......bitch getting old but I'll find a way to enjoy my pleasures

Yes. We took 2 cars last year for the 50th RR year. The 75 was on display in building T, and the 80 we used as a driver for the weekend and was on the fun field. This is the only pic I have of it as we were pulling into the kick off cruise on Thur evening.

Beautiful car droptop! I'm really partial to those F-bodies myself.

I have attended over 20 shows there. The people are awesome. The swap meet Rocks!! Yeah most of the fancy tents are overpriced but there are deals to be had. Last year I bought a brand new 8.25 SG unit for $100 and like new black krinkle Mopar valve covers for $65. Plan to spend a whole day just going through parts. Show field is awesome.
The heat can be oppressive however lots of swap vendors sell ice water for a buck and the heat means some decent eye candy (nod/wink). Great little food stand outside the gate in the back at someone's house. Just burgers/dogs/soda but reasonable.

Do it!

One of the best shows around... The weather is what it is..

Always wanted to go but never was able to get off from work. Low man on totem pole with seniority. A good 100 mile trip for me. Still hoping to attend some day. Hell, I can't even attend a show in my home town! What ever you do, never take a job working rotating shifts!
Same here. Finally have the time off. Finally going

droptop. I know that guy in the green shirt. That's Roadcuda. He's also on FCBO as far as I know. (I know the guy who took the picture too).
