I know this has been discussed before, but wanted to check. Planing to put tires on my 65 Belvedere. Will 275/60/15 fit on rear with 8" rim and 4 1/2" backspace? Also, 235/70/15 on front with 7" rim and 4 1/2" backspace. Both size tires are 28" tall. Thanks

Rears will be fine. That's what I had on my 64 Belvedere. Not sure on the front. I think I had a 6 inch wheel on it. It may catch at the front lower part of the wheel opening with that much backspacing and a 235 tire. On my current 65 Coronet I think I went with a 7 inch, 3 7/8 backspace on the front with 225 70 15. and I has nicked the corner slightly while turning with some suspension movement.

Rears should be ok as I have 275/60/15 7'' rim and 4 1/4 back space with plenty of room. The 8'' with 4 1/2''back space may get close to the leaf springs.Remember all Mopars aren't created the same. I pulled the rears from my 65 and put them on my 63.The passenger side was really close to the leaf spring. It may be because I have the stock 63 flange type axle 8 3/4.
I would say you are pushing the limit on the front.I'm running 215 70/15 on my Americans on the front.
