I would like to see what everyone has for after market gauges.
I want to put some mechanical gauges in but everything looks so crappy
Preferably American made

Dakota Digital... love them.

I used a Stewart Warner mechanical tach, and Stewart Warner oil pressure and water temp under dash gauges.

I’d like to see if anyone has installed aftermarket gauges in a non-rallye dash while retaining the OE speedo. I’ve seen the digital panels but it’s not my cup ‘o tea. I think 2 1/16” gauges would fit but it would require some sort of fabricated panel.

I installed volt meter and oil pressure gauge under dash, dead center to compliment non rallye dash gauges. Clean and simple look. Sorry, thought that I had pictures. Will post some next time I get to my car. Early next week.

The Dakota Digital gauges are awesome, well much as I was thinking on that, after some pondering decided to resto my gauges first to see how well they would brighten up after having the bezel re-chromed. In my case have a '62 Plymouth dash I put in my '63 and the machined-blued background just seemed a little too nice to let go yet. So long cleaning process then repainting the needles and pretty happy. Tach is installed where clock used to be. Also re-fabbed a console out of an 80's Lincoln and machined an aluminum plate to hold an oil and vac guage where the empty compartment was. It also has a light bar I connected for turn signals, brakes, and headlights. This is still in process...I took it all back out and recolored the leather console for better color match and made an aluminum double cup holder insert where a flat tray was. Now to the endless polishing chore...

Put these Autometer MOPAR gauges on top of the dash where they could be seen - tach on the column out of the way.

Built this set up for a couple my RR's
this ones a bit different, I added a 7th gauge, a clock far right
still haven't installed one on my current RR
I haven't gotten there yet or decided to do it...

3-3/8" 160mph speedo & 8,000 rpm tach
2-1/16" oil press., water temp., fuel level, volts, clock

It's about $750 worth in Autometer pods & full sweep analogue gauges
classic style with old school chrome bezels
fabed up aluminum panel with crinkle black paint
LED blinkers & several different colored warning lights

with fully wired/detail labeled harness
