The thing I like about this site is a mandory price listing.
In newspapers and old car magazines I see several items For Sale w/o a price listing. Its annoying and makes no sense.

oh it makes plenty of sense
they just want to run their own little auction with their own little rules.
they won't get a bid from me no matter how bad I want it..

Annoying is the guys that worry about the three per cent PayPal fee, as if it matters.
If three per cent is that big of a deal they need to rethink the life choices that brought them to this point.
Im sorry, I think that is complete BS.......If the buyer cant follow the sellers request, than piss off.....My ad, my rules.....

So I sell a part at a discounted price, pack with my materials and use my time and you want me to eat more....WTF.....

This is one of the many reasons why I stopped selling parts.......The cheep skates, complaining about shipping costs......and the scammers.....

Furthermore, don't bid or try to buy items when you dont have the money.........It is not a lay away program nor an IOU program.....

When I leave this earth someone else can figure out what to do with my parts..........

I am not talking about anyone on FBBO or FCBO, but it seems like some individuals advertising parts are lonesome souls seeking social interaction and create drama to perpetuate social interaction at any cost. They really aren't interested in selling parts.

Maybe it is a sign of the times? I have run across real estate people, home builders, and large car dealerships that behave the same way. Not everyone of course, but way too many.

I always check when I want to buy. New members who have nothing but WTB and For Sale send up red flags for me. I call them Join To Sell members. Just here to flip and profit off the mopar madness.
Oh, this site has a few flippers for sure.

But for the most part...FBBO members are great.

It’s not always about you.
Lol.....Yes it is and if someone doesn't agree to my terms and my ad, then move on....I only deal with honest people...I can weed the dishonest and cheap skates quite easily....

Twice I’ve sent stuff to guys here without payment up front. First was a trade. Got a thank you, but no item. Postage cost me over $20.00, plus the value of the parts.
Second I gave a guy free stuff. Postage was about $20.00. Not even a thank you, nothing.

I’ll still give stuff away rather then dicker over small amounts of money, but Jesus, people. At least have the courtesy to say thank you.
That being said, I’ve had awesome people send me stuff. I said thank you, and I’ll say it here: thank you for making this hobby about more then money all the freakin time. There are still WAY more good people then bad. Of all of the various websites that I belong to this is far and away the best, most encouraging, most helpful.
Just me, but I would out them. Mistrust on FBBO exists because of these people. You usually don't know the other guy, so decent sellers and buyers tend to get painted with the broad Brush Of Mistrust.

Yeah, I tended to think the guys on a site like this would be above board when dealing with them. Thinking we were all in some "brotherhood" of car guys and Mopar people .. WRONG, bought two cars in past years from pictures and conversations with that thought and BOTH times came up short. They both were members with years here and seeing that figured they would be honest. This, and other Mopar sites are like any other.. buyer beware "brother."

Or "call for price." Gee, you know the item you listed is way overpriced. But you have to eventually tell someone the price to sell it. And now they are ticked off that they have to jump through hoops to find out the price. Makes perfect sense to me. Not.

That’s a sweet old radio. I have about four similar ones but not identical. Does it work? If you need tubes I have literally thousands, and if you need other parts I can steer you in the right direction.

I have quite a few tubes, I need 1 push button. Grandpop was a cabinet maker at RCA. That is where this came from in the 1930's. Still have his pay stubs. Raised a family of 5 kids on $27 a week. That's two-seven.

the finale of these Annoying people,is the fact that i left them feedback,
right after they paid...lucky me..smart me..right?
and they left none, because after all, they got what they wanted,
and could care less about doing the Right thing.
isnt that an Annoying thing to have happen......looking at you.
I am in agreement with this...feedback seems to elude some people. I am guilty of not leaving one or maybe two in my time here...I tried to rectify this a couple of years ago, but the system was upgraded, and I lost a couple of threads. However, I am missing a good 10 or more feedback's from other people who I have spent good money with here.

Annoying as it is, but some people just treat the feedback system as an inconvenience, and not high on their list of priorities.

I agree that it is to bad people dont use the feedback feature here. I think it would help weed out some of the shady buyers and sellers. You think you are bad at missing 10, I bet I am out at least 50 over the years. I quit asking years ago and now dont leave any feedback unless the other person does first, or if I have dealt with them be before. Prime example is the guy who came over from a bodies selling front light harnesses. Bought one from him and left feedback, wouldn't you think he would do the same? Nope.

That guy.....you would think he could at least give something back in the way of signing up as a Sponsor....or at least buy a Gold membership. I built my own loom for headlights....it's not that difficult.

Sorry to hear about all your feedback's lost.....goes to show that some folks don't care.

This is what kind of person he is.
