If I was the Country House owner, after 10 minutes of indecision I would have conceded and congratulated Maximum Security. Solved. No disqualification required. Hear the crowd booing? Yahoo Fake News, but they are first.
I’m so screwed up with medication, can’t even have a Mint Julip.
 
They might need Maximum Security at Churchill Downs for those unhappy patrons who had $1000 or more on him to WIN!!!! Disqualified....
They won't be sipping Mint Julips, either!!!!

That horse has always been a cheater. From a long line of cheaters. His good for nothing cousin still owes me $50!

I watched the race and didn’t think Max did anything wrong. Looked to me like the other horse basically ran into his legs. I’ll admit I don’t know the rules of horse racing and they took enough time evaluating the situation so I guess that’s a legitimate bitch. Bummer for Max and all involved - including the bettors. I would have like to have had a few bucks down on Country House. Second longest odds in derby history.
 
I switched over to watch the hockey game just as they were deliberating.

Looked like there was an attempt to block.

Horses runnin in mud.....and one got in the others spot in the muddy track while they were runnin.....that almost never happens:rolleyes:
 
Horse racing is riddled with corruption world-wide.....why else would gangs and the Mafia be interested in it?
 
We’ve had 23 horses die at Santa Anita just this year in the past few months. Think somethings up.......? They’ve investigated it to high heaven and don’t find anything wrong...... These horses are extremely fragile.

It was a very slippery track after all, at the speed they are racing possibly a little slippage was involved......unless of course it was "rigged" against Max to begin with! This is becoming more and more like NAPCAR.
 
all the hype for what, one minute of action , those things should have to run 10 laps with at least one pit stop and a driver change. it's so fuckin overrated
