Just wanted to mention this......850 cars and only 8 Mopars (including mine).

was anybody else there that you knew from fbbo. was it a good time how far was the route.

Isnt that the setting for the "Cars" movie (Lightning McQueen), meaning Rt66 around a fictional Kingman??

I heard only one fleeting mention about this show on the local laughlin sports talk station, but i didn't get any details. I looked for info on google, but i didn't find anything.
I would have gone as a spectator, but my mopars are still in cali.

Didn't see anybody from here because I spoke to every Mopar owner there. One guy I met, name is Dan, drove his 65 Dodge Coronet all the way from Cape Girardeau MO......I believe he was the long distance winner, they drove Route 66 (I-40) as much as they could, took them 7 days, leisurely.

"Cars" could be Peach Springs,east of Kingman (not far).Maybe that's where thay came up with "Radiator Springs".
FWI, Pretty normal round these parts. The Boulder City car show this weekend had about 10. Lots of 30's and 40's Rat Rod Mopars with Chevy engines and drivelines :BangHead:. Couple from the 50's and 60's and 1 E body.

I hate it when they take any Mopar and put a chevy in it......I have, however, seen Chevys with Mopar engines in them, now
that's the right way to do things!

YES ^^^ even had a SuperBird in it. Surely you must have seen it.

FWI;
Did you travel the whole route? We usually spectate but had to go to Lake Havasu
today. Came home through Topock and saw a LOT of cars leaving the area. Sounds
like it's getting more popular as time passes. Your right though. The advertising is
not wide spread. But if they're getting 850 entries maybe it's good enough. I've
heard the amount of hotel rooms available in Seligman ( the start ) is iffy.
