New wires 3 set of plugs tried Campion,NGK Delco now set at 035 .
 
We hawe 98 octane and I add octane booster at evey fillup .If the problem was timeing related it would not follow the rpm from idle to wot whitout changeing .
Your octane rating is based on a different manner. I believe it is a "Research Octane Number" or "Motor" octane. In USA, we use a combination of those 2 numbers to get an average of them, R + M divided by 2. Usually, the methods that other countries use is a higher number than ours. In other words, YOUR 98 octane may be the same as our 92.
 
longshot had a electronic dizzy and the module inside would get hot went thru 3 of them and finally found that the voltage was good but the ground stud was loose. tighten up ground stud and problem was gone. just a thought
 
Did you swap the distributor cap? coil?
Sorry if you have done all this.....I am really focused on the secondary ignition.
If you are confident it is not in the secondary then check module ground, swap a module, monitor voltage at the coil when issue is present.

where is the coil mounted if on the intake pot a barrier underneath it to keep the heat off and around it. coils don't like heat.

Just asking what are your six pack engines vacuum at idle ? Mine 16 hg at 12 btc. 750 -800 rpm.
 
Explain this to me if i go upphill the problem goes away on flat road it comes back ?Under load it goes away steady speed it comes back ???

Ok boys I hawe remowed the outer carbs the vacuum is 19 at 900 rpm idle skrews 1.5 turn out !BUT I can turn the skrews all the way in both sides and the engine keeps running the vacuum drops to 15 and the idle gets rouhf but it runs !Is it not to stop running if the skrews are all in ?
