I'm about to pull the trigger on a suspension package and for the longest time had my heart set on a Hotchkis TVS, but I just recently discovered the QA1 Level 2 that's slightly cheaper. I'm still leaning Hotchkis but before I make the move I figured I'd see what kind of opinions I can get from the wiser than me FBBO minds. The biggest difference I've seen is that QA1 replaces the K frame where as the Hotchkis utilizes the stock K frame. Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

I have Hotchkis leaf springs, adjustable struts and shocks. Along with many other component upgrades from Firm Feel, XV Racing, Global West, Hellwig, PST, US Car Tool and Borgeson. Reinforced K frame, car handles far better than stock. QA1 looks like quality stuff but I've never used them.

I have the Full Hotchkis TVS kit with QA-1 lower arms and Subframe.. The full adjustability of the Hotchkis arms is what I like!

Whichever kit you go with dont forget torsion bars, if your car was a former small block or 6 car and now has a big block the tbars are not up to snuff. even if it was originally a 440 car and they are 50 yrs old a refresh might be due. You can drastically changed the handling capabilities of your ride with t-bars and adjustable shocks.

@PST is offering a nice set up from HDK, not quite sure how far you want to go with it. Just some bolt ons or a full coilover conversion.

The Firm-feel T's I have are 1.03 or.07, dont remember? but mega improvement,
