73 plymouth satellite. Tail lights, head lights, side marker lights all work fine but when I turn on the left turn signal both tail light blink( really slow ) and I have no brake lights. Right turn signal does nothing but I can hear the relay blinking very slow. Where do I even start?

Okay,
First off:
Good clean "Grounding" is imperative.
Now....
Usually, when a "Circuit" flashes fast, an "open" has occurred
Another words, if the circuit is a 4-bulb circuit and you remove "one" bulb, you will notice they blink faster, Less Load, or resistance.
Is a circuit blinks slow, then usually power to ground.
Do you have a multi-meter?
(Harbor Freight)
Get one and perform both Continuity and V DC checks

To me, it sounds like you have a short enabling both tail lights to Flash instead of just the Left (Increased Load/Resistance)

Awesome advice! I'm gonna give it a shot . Thanks very much.

Go to the left tail light or left marker light, Take out that 1156 bulb and install an 1157 where it goes.

disconnect the harness from tail lights and test operation of individual wires with test light, and see what works or doesn't!

I did that first off. Bought new 1157s for both sides. Replaces the backup bulbs as well 1156. Still doing what it was thank for the advice
