Does the 70 RR's use the same light bezel as in the quarter panels, with just the amber lense in it? Or, is the fronts a totally different light? I need a set of front side markers, but i can't find anything listed, so i figured front and backs may be the same light with different lenses in them.

Sorry, but no, the front & rear side marker lights are completely different and you could not make a rear fit up front. There are some aftermarket lights out that there that "look close" on the outside, but aren't original at all.
