Installed power discs in front and stock size discs in rear. Was a drum/drum car. Do i have to change the brake pedal itself?

Did you use the original booster? I'm pretty sure you dont want to use a power drum booster for disc brakes.

Oh man, power brakes usually had a wider(?) pedal, 1” or so longer; from a very bad memory.

I have a new master and brake booster assembly made for disc disc set up has bell crank attached to booster

Are you having a problem with the conversion? What year and model car?

Not sure if you have to change or need a different pedal. Do you have two holes in the pedal where the booster connecting rod attaches.

I’m sure others will post up with questions and solutions.

68 coronet Put stock size discs on the front and stock size discs on the rear. But the brand new dual diaphragm booster and master as a package made for this body.

Pedals are the same.....the difference is where the pedals sits and the push rod used......

The provided bell crank on the back of the booster is supposed to change the brake pedals ratio to make it effective for power brakes.

You shouldn't need a different pedal but you'll need to change the pedal mounting bolt under the dash from the upper Drum position to the lower disc position or you will have too much leverage at the pedal, making braking pressure on the pedal too sensitive.

1968 Satellite, converting from manual drums to power drums. The booster and master cylinder sit higher in the engine bay. You will need to use the correct plate on the engine side of firewall to mount the booster to. the booster will have a " toggle " linkage that goes on the inside of firewall attached to your pedal bracket. That toggle attaches to the stock pedal in the same place your original M/C pushrod did. Not sure if the toggle is to drop it back down to attach to your pedal, or to change the pedal travel..Probably both. Beware..you can get the toggle attaching bolt ( bottom one with the nylon bushings) too tight and bind the linkage up........................MO

Pedals are different sizes between manual and automatic transmissions....but not between power and manual brakes :)
