Gentlemen,
I have a '67 satellite with manual drums up front, and I am looking to switch to manual disks.
Going with the Right stuff MDC62SD kit, 15/16 master and solid discs. I have 15" wheels, so should clear with no issues.

Has anyone installed this kit recently and can tell me what extra parts I am going to need? Are the brake fittings on my car going to mate right up to this master? The new RS master has front port: 9/16 in.-18 threads. Rear port: 1/2 in.-20 threads.

I'm also wondering about the lever to brake pedal connection. I have been looking around for a bushing that would make the hole in the lever the proper size for my brake bolt, with the factory setup and the right stuff master the connection to the pedal is very sloppy and I was hoping someone had perhaps located the proper bronze bushing to correct this.

Any other issues I should be aware of? I have used a right stuff kit in the past and it was decent quality for the price.

Thanks in advance for looking.

Check your local hardware store. Our local True Value has a good assortment of bushings in steel and brass.

I installed a RS disc brake kit on the Coronet about 3 years ago, except power assist. I believe the proportioning valve needs to be changed, which will probably also require new hardlines up to the mc.
