Finally converting my 4 wheel drum to disk/drum on my 70 Belvedere. I’d like to get some feedback on any kits you may have used and like. This is a Power Tour/car show only car. Not a racer or pro touring so I don’t need pricy Wilwoods or similar. Just stockish Kit. I have 15” aluminum wheels. Thanks!

I just bought the Wilwood front disk brakes from him. Easy to install, knowledgeable and good service.
I got the wilwoods also, bought a strange s60 from him all set up with green bearings and wilwoods. Customer device is top notch he was emailing me back n forth 11pm on a Sunday night.

Dr Diff is the best for the money

We offer a couple of different options on disc brake conversions, besides our own we offer both Wilwood and Leed Brakes kits. I have attached a link below to what we offer. Please let me know if you have any questions as I can walk you through the various kit. Also as a member of the forum you are eligible for members discount (orders over $200 get 10% off) and free shipping within the US 48 states.

If you want to keep your drum spindles, there's a couple kits.
Wilwood makes a couple kits for stock spindles, but you must be careful of their giant hubs
in regards to what wheels you're running - for example, they won't allow you to keep the
Magnum 500 center caps (their hubs protrude into the cap area deeply).

SSBC (Stainless Steel Brakes) makes a kit that will work on drum spindles and works with
about any steel wheel; their part number is A156 and includes a new master too (that number
is for their non-power setup; they have another number that includes a booster if you want power).

I went with ram man in Fort Worth, Texas. Using basically factory stuff, Dr.Diff great also. I have heard that Ram Man was pricey, but i did not drop alot on a conversion kit.

I wish I could! One of my drum spindles is gouged.

If you REALLY want the original spindles and do the conversion as stated above, let me know. $20 for the pair + shipping

I went with Dr's stuff for mine. Purchased the packages that are based off of the 03-07 Stang as I want to be able to source replacement parts locally without being stuck waiting for boutique parts to show up.

What is the promo code?

I am going to a Wilwood 4 wheel disc brake system. I have the $600 system from Dr. Diff.
I will sell you my complete setup cheap if you can wait about 6-8 weeks.

I went with the SSBC on all 4 corners of my 300 as I wanted to keep the 14"s & the spinner caps that go with them. I wanted a minimal fabricate/swap parts thing, just a bolt & go. They were on sale at the time and it was a sweet deal. Good Luck

Make it easy on yourself and just get the setup from Doctor Diff.

I recently installed an MBM kit for all 4 wheels. It was very nice quality and easy to install, even without instructions. It was quite cheap too. I was a le to get all four for around $800 with spindles included.
