The "pink and greens" are coming back!

I'm so glad that I wore a Flight suit for 30 years!

A flight suit is all that you had to have in your military wardrobe? That must be a first.

It's about time they brought back the Class A's. Never did like the look of camo fatigues in the airports.

This is a much better uniform than the awful class A uniform that has been around for so long. I too wore a flight suit for many years, but had my full issue of everything else (class A, BDU, ACU, web gear, etc)

Class A uniform is the best. I guess everyone is in love with the Captain America uniform.

Do you remember the summer khaki uniform?

"It's about the belt"
That was funny, The man know his style...

so is it gonna' be all branches ?
go to retro/throwback uniforms ?
not just the Army ?
all I saw was Army throwbacks there

Well Don...In the AF if you are on flying status, the uniform of the day was the Flight Suit. The rest we were supposed to keep ready but we never really had to wear the Class A's for other than an official retirement, award, etc. And then more often than not, the Flight Suit was it. I was in the same boat as Brother Jon but I still maintained all my Uniforms ready when needed. Jon how ever, wasn't really required to. That being said, I am glad to see the Pinks and Greens coming back into fashion. Best Army and Army Air Corp uniform ever. And when the AF became a separate branch, the uniforms were the same in design but a different color. Now if the AF would quit trying to be so fashion conscious and keep changing it all the time, and adopt more of a heritage/heraldry attitude and went back to earlier designs, then I am all for it...cr8crshr/Bill:thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup::usflag::usflag::usflag:

I wonder about the current Air Force BDU/ACU Uniform looks like a bleached out version of the Vietnam tiger stripes that U.S. ARMY Special Forces wore, as well as Navy Seals, and Force Recon during the Vietnam war.

Yeah, I know very well what it means for any given service what the uniform of the day is depending on your status, type unit you're in, level of headquarters you're assigned to, etc.. Army has played the revolving door with uniforms and variations thereof for over 2 decades, starting with that stupid black beret back in the late 90s. Hopefully they will settle down now with this latest change.

The beret has the dumbest thing. I hated it !
Berets should not have gone army wide. Ranger/Special Forces/Airborne should be the only authorized personnel to wear that headgear. General Shinseki did not like the status of elite troops in his ranks. Total asshat.

Once again it was the everyone gets a prize, nobody is better than anyone else type mentality. Shinseki was an asshat
