I've always liked the 1st gens. Good article. I thought they had and still have a very nice sleek look to them. It didn't hurt that they were fast also.

In running The List, the article left out Dirty Mary Crazy Larry.
(If one can call two movies "a list")
That movie notwithstanding, Hollywood should have stopped after Bullitt.
It was all downhill after there.
"Iconic" is a nice word to describe it.

There are the obvious reasons for the uptick of attention in first Gens.
As with many things in life, it's usually about money.
But for some people, having something less "well known" is a motivating factor.
And the body has aged well.
