Hey Guys, is there an easy way to get the black rubbery stuff off the windshield frame? I need prepare it for a new window. Thanks!

Make sure you wear double protective gloves AND a resperator AND do it outside in the fresh air.
(unless you have a death wish) Naptha isn't something you want to be messing with. Very toxic.
It contains Benzine and is readily absorbed by the skin. The fumes, when inhaled cause respiratory
problems, and above all of that, Benzine Is a carcinogen and a mutagen. So, Have fun! Look up the M.S.D.S.
sheet on this and anything else like it you think you want to use and then you can make a decision.

Yikes, is there anything else I can use?

Try Mineral spirits, but again, you have to be careful about your protective equipment
you wear such as double nitrile gloves and don't inhale the fumes. The M.S.D.S. sheets
can be looked up on-line and they are there to help you not hurt or kill yourself. Not trying
to scare anyone, but there's a lot of bad **** out there. Hell, I'm going out to the shed and
get rid of my Roundup before I get cancer from it!

Just imagine what is in the air you can’t see......

Again, safety first....as the warning labels will advise......wear the proper protective equipment.....

Also, don’t light a match, fire up a cigarette etc

Reminds me of the stories of late where the dumb-**** kids start a small bonfire
and someone pours gasoline on the fire to "get it going". Young and dumb.
I guess they have no idea of physical science or chemistry.

Population control is how I refer to it, lol
