I am curious about the weight distribution between front and rear axles on both factory big block and small block editions of our BBodies. Anyone have figures for their own vehicle? Thank you.

I did weigh my 66 Belvedere SW once and arrived at 49/51% front to rear.

I've used commercial scale to measure rear axle weight on my p/u truck while hooked up to trailer. Used a bathroom scale to measure boat trailer tongue weight, something like this. You may be able to measure one wheel at a time like that.

Great info to know if you ever plan on trailering a car. The chassis manual and FSM will show the neutral front to rear weight location. But yes I have all three weights for the GTX. Front, rear and total just to make sure there were no scale screwups. Found out it was 400 lbs. over the factor list weight also.
