I don't usually do these. Not mine...for the more-door folks

Nice car. I like 4 doors. But it's the fact that it has the Barracuda engine and not the Hemi engine that has me drooling. 1 of :lol:1.

Uhhh......

Sleeper for sale. Nice condition and very powerful. Engine built by local mechanic - 340 Barracuda engine. Super fun to drive and thumbs up where ever you go. I wish I could keep it but too many cars. It was meant for my sixteen year old son but my wife chickened out and wants less power and air bags for him. Many more $$$ invested in the car. You'll enjoy it.
340 Barracuda engine (.040 over -- 344), Holly 600 cfm (ported to 740), Mallory ignition.

How do you port a carburetor ???

Four doors, four exhaust tips. That's bad-***.

thats a good question seeing as it started off as a stock 600cfm holley which is like the oldest pos in the book.
its a tiny standard basic power valve pos.
sounds like they may have frankensteined a 750 when they could have just bought a 750 to start with.
id be leary of the carb, but it sounds like hes asking close to just what it cost for the motor rebuild....for the whole car and its a clean car too.
buy the car and put a 850 thermoquad on that joker, then see whats up.

Yes it's another goofy ad. But, if I was looking for a 4-dr the price is awful tempting, considering guys are selling rusty piles of crap for twice that..

I've had good luck with the little 600 Holleys I've had.

For someone trying to sell something on basically the eng! It might be helpful to include pictures of said eng and the paperwork as I see it until he shows it off it's nothing but a 318 !

A running, driving Mopar for $4800 ? Hell yeah. If you show up with $4,000 cash bet they won't turn it down.Parts on that car are worth double. But I wouldn't part it,I'd drive it .

Rejetted maybe?

see the problem im having mentally with this is the 600 is a single transfer tube for Both bowls whereas the bigger carbs have their own dedicated lines for fuel.
maybe whatever they did flowed 740 cfm of air but im not so sure about fuel keeping up with it.
think about how much they would have to take off the inside of the body as well to get to 740.

think of the holley 600cfm as an edelbrock is thought of now.
easy to throw on and use for stock to mild apps.
they were also a pita to get the gaskets to seat and seal and the o-rings on the fuel transfer to set right.
and they had power valves that would take a dump and leave you stranded.
i didnt like them back in the day and still dont,
i have still got some laying around, never use.

I don't see a picture of the carb, or model number. Holley does make dual inlet 4150 600 cfm carbs.

That would make a good police interceptor clone.

That ad smells fishy to me and it isn't because of the Barracuda engine. There are no pictures of the interior or the engine and the modifications sound hokey, buyer beware!
