Anyone running a J.W. Transmission "Ultra Bell" setup? with a Powerglide trans?

Have another post about me having slow cranking issues on a 540" BB being the starter but that wasn't the issue. I installed a MSD Dyna Force starter and the same thing happened. I then loosened all the bellhousing bolts and it cranked better so it's something binding between the motor/tranny. It's a powerglide with a Ultra Bell bellhousing #92456, "The Wheel" flexplate along with the crank adapter and a 10"-4000 stall converter. I pulled the trans out and the only thing I noticed is the flexplate bolts that came with it have thick heads and I noticed they're all hitting the converter when it's bolted to the flexplate. I have some thin head 12pt ARP bolts coming tomorrow but I dunno if this is the sole problem as it doesn't seem like even the bolts hitting the converter would be enough to cause the binding? Anyone have any ideas on what I can try? I just now thought maybe the bellhousing was for a mid-plate? which I can see running w/o one would cause binding but I'm sure I would've saw that in the instructions. Gonna check again now just to be safe. Thanks for any suggestions.

It was the flexplate bolts. Put some ARP's in there and now it cranks fine.

I know it's a few months past, but this morning while putting mine together the bolts that came with it the heads were to long so I took off .070 on my lathe and re checked. I only checked because I remember seeing your post a while ago. So thanks for the heads up!
