Grease up one cage, line up the track and slide it on. Then slide it till it opens up at the other end and repeat.

I used a oversized nut as a spacer then a nut to pull it up into place. I need to get 4 more as I had to cut 4 of them off to get them apart.

Today I started on doors. Got the new latches in, look great. Got them adjusted and working. I'll probably have to readjust the doors after I get all the glass in.

Tomorrow I start on wingvent frames. I brought in the door I took off of my first RR when I put fiberglass doors on. I'll be using it as a reference for putting my windows back in.

Feels good to be back in the garage working on the X.

So this morning I got some synthetic grease like used on poly bushings. Has no smell, really sticky, and also is almost clear.

So I coated the door latches after they were installed .
