A little bit out of my price range!

E-bodies are great looking cars, but they ride like **** and the seating position sucks. Plus, they put the glove box where the trunk should be.

Cool car but wrong info, since when a 1970 torqueflight have 4 speeds?
426/425 what is that?

Im sure the 4 speed is just a typo. The 426/425 means 426 cubic inch motor, 425 horsepower which is correct as advertised new..... Some of the older the chebbie motors used to say it like that, or even just the horsepower right on the valve cover. So no doubt the writer of the article has seen much more GM stuff to write about.

cars like that are for the select few, but alas it will hardly ever be driven, very sad

what did the Nash Bridges convertible go for at auction :popcorn2:

That 'Cuda's price has been falling steadily the last few years. They used to be 3 million.

That's just stupid money..... So my Challenger must be worth half that then, cause it only has a 383, but it's all the same other wise and a new set of BFGs

What is that, yella, a spy photo? :poke:
Nice looking car - what we can see of it! :D
A classmate of mine had one just like it in high school.

An A-12 RR went for 72k at Mecum today. 4-speed car. Seemed like a good deal - or is my head out of whack after watching these auctions?

I saw that car at Fisherman's Wharf in San Francisco in 1997. They were filming at the time and it was parked up, nobody around. It was immaculate, really stunning. I'd just bought a fastback 69 Barracuda for $4,500 which I thought was the bees knees but when I saw this I was blown away. We hadn't seen the series and assumed they were filming a movie - we asked an Asian lady in the nearby café and she said "John Johnson filming". We were still clueless, until we saw it on the tv a few months later and worked out she was saying "Don Johnson".....
