Did They Install My Upper Control Arms Backwards?!!

OK, now I get it. The strut rods don't use cotter pins (that was what I thought was needed) they use roll pins/spring pins. That clears up the issue. It's because they were already missing when I looked for something there, and I assumed they were cotter pins I needed to install, but I was wrong and now stand corrected. I just purchased a box or assorted roll pins last month for my door hinge repair. I assume with the strut rods the roll pins should be oversize, that is, "too long" to stop any loose nuts trying to escape. Thank you.
