Poor pay & **** hrs
many don't have benefits, because the split shift & less hrs
many are alky's, broken, damaged & desperate people
I know 1st hand, my dad was a school bus driver
& high school district union negotiator,
a narc & maintenance worker to fill in the gaps/time to get the hr's
for 20 years after he retired from his construction business in 1980

I was a temporary bus driver yesterday...helping out the family business. A load of Chinese student tourists here for a couple of weeks...transfer from airport to University Campus.
Conversation was limited...wing tah chung foo hung non ball.
Everybody off...
Man, some of them had really heavy luggage.
