I am replacing the wiper motor on the 67 GTX. Installing the motor is easy. Hooking it up under the dash is getting to be a pain in the *** Couldn't get the linkage hooked up to the motor. So had a brilliant idea of taking the linkage/ cam apart then hooking it up to the motor. Well lost the brass washer/ clip. Had to order a new one. Lost it. Have no idea where it went. LOL Anyone have any ideas on which is the best way to put it back together ?

Take the radio and ashtray receiver out. I just did this, removing the radio will give you a clear view of what you are working on and you can reach it through the ashtray area. My car is a 69 roadrunner so I'm not sure on the 67 but I can imagine it's that different

I'm with Don on this one. I've always bolted up the linkage and THEN bolted up the wiper motor....under the hood. There is just enough room/play to do this.
