Blue smoke

Well did the gaskets and and still the same issue. I guess there is something going on with the rings/ bore. Strange that it just started suddenly.

A few squirts of Marvel Mystery Oil in the plug holes. Let sit a few days. Pull valve covers and visually check the valve stem seals . Install new plugs and change the oil, smell for fuel in oil.

Do a cranking compression test and a leak down check before you tear into it, that’ll tell you if that stuck float washed a ring or rings are good. If good, check the valve springs to see if all the viton seals are in place. Could have pulled an intake valve seal up off the guide. It could also be pulling oil up around an intake valley stud. Those are open to the port on those heads. Also check the plugs that block off the old nitrous nozzles. Maybe one got loose. Also could just still be oil in the exhaust that hasn’t burned out yet from before the intake gasket repair.

Would there be anything with the spark plug tubes not being sealed that could allow oil to get past the plugs and into the cylinder?

I'll check all of that. Thanks for the suggestions.
I took a break from the car yesterday to cool down! I cut the seals/washers off the spark plugs, that's ok right?

Well, maybe, maybe not. In your case, maybe not. Do you have o-rings in the heads that seal against the tube? If so,what kinda shape they in? As far as plugs go,pop in a new set. And leave the washers on the plugs. Can you see signs of oil down the threads on the old plugs?

Short of a crack through the threads, I’ve never seen this being an issue with or without washers on plugs. Trying what hangnOout suggests would rule that out.

I will. Going to be changing the oil and plugs this week and looking down the ports to see if there are any signs of oil getting in from the intake gaskets again.
I won't cut the seals off the plugs to eliminate that.

Alright back at it. Put the car away for the winter and now am seeing clearly again. I'll get to the bottom of this!

I changed the rear float since it was getting stuck, new oil and plugs. I may pull the intake again to see if that's the issue. I'm also going to do a leakdown test.

Hemi intake manifolds got to be the most finicky intake ever to be bolted down. I always end up running the torque sequence about 5 times before those screws maintain the torque desired.

It looks like it was pulling oil from the gasket area.

Does it look like its pulling oil from there or is it just me?

If it needs more then I'll contact hemirunner for a possible rebuild with upgrades. I'm not stressing out about this. I was ready to sell everything but came to my senses. Lol

It definitely looks like it’s pulling oil from there. It looks as though the manifold is contacting the head at the top more so than at the bottom allowing oil in.

If the intake gaskets are allowing oil to pass, the intake port floors should be pretty oily.

I love that feeling when a nagging issue is identified and about to be resolved.

Picking up a leakdown tester tomorrow. What am I looking for? How much pressure should I check it at?
