Boy we're taking his thread way to the left.. lol. Which one?? That's an 8' in the picture, I also have a 12' in the hangar, as well as 4' and 12' power shears... and a Bridgeport..

you have everything there.. do you do alot of rebuilds? any Fabric work at all? like on the Cubs , Scouts, Vikings?

You bend it.. I'll mend it! .. but I HATE fabric!

Can I ask why you are using a lathe to turn your flywheel when you also have a Bridgeport ? I have turned flywheels for commuter car jobs a couple times myself, but always have my flywheels surfaced on mill, per my machine shop guys recommendations.

It's a lot easier to dial it out on the lathe to make sure it's running true than to make sure it's sitting flat on a milling bed.
 
Well I got my flywheel back from the shop today. Apparently the cracks were deeper than I thought. Is it scrap metal now? The guy at the machine shop said it’s fine and that he runs em like that all the time. Idk

How much did he take off of it? And from what I see in the pic, I would run it behind a stock engine.....
