i got 2-1/2 late chargers i bought for the hemi's .... was thinking that swapping whole rear cradle would be a nice upgrade.

That video doesn’t show it, but the guy driving it, screwed up on not setting the trans brake, seen that video on other Mopar forums. That was the conclusion, but Dodge did send out a couple of people to inspect the diff.

I considered it when I built my GTX but it would have involved a whole bunch of hacking and modifying to the package tray area resulting in a look I did not care for. The newer assemblies might be less bulky, I was using an 07 Charger for a donor.
I like the 4 link with the stock 8 3/4 housing.

other than the upper shock mount its fairly low profile ... and the getrag will take just about anything ya chuck at it. everyone and there cat was useing a jag rear setup in everthing back in the day and it was like 2 feet thick. just kicking around an idea. seen a few ppl do the body swap thing but im not that into body work ....

I have seen a 70 RR with a 392/6speed/Jag rear suspension. Bad ***!!!!! I looked at how tall those rear shock towers are and that is what made me not use that set up. I'm not so sure what other modifications would be required to actually mount it on an existing B Body underside.

good part on the jag is thay use a coil over shock ... a lot shorter then the charger. i guess ya could find a shorter shock to solve that problum. i was thinking maby useing the front B body upper shock mount or the jag shock without the spring. the more i think on it think in going to see if i can mock it up ... i got a the rear half of floor pan with the rails on it from a 67. mite be worth a try. .. how hard can it be????? lol
