Does anyone out here know how and where the bumper jack and stuff mounts in the trunk? I’m just finishing up a 69 RR ragtop that had a new trunk floor installed, so I have no reference points. Pictures of inside trunk area would really help, since I wasn’t the one that started the restoration 18yrs ago. Thanks

Does this help? I have the exact measurements somewhere if you need them.

Every little bit helps... your’s looks like a 70? I wasn’t sure if there are any extra brackets needed to hold jack in place. I haven’t yet welded in tire holder but I have a pretty good idea of general location.

This is the bracket you are looking for (from my 70 Coronet). Its tack welded on the passenger side of the trunk floor.

Any chance someone has those measurements handy?

Are you making a "numbers matching" car? My suggestion, especially if running non-stock tires, is to weld that bracket in to perfectly position your spare. You can't see it & nobody will ever know if you moved it 3/4" or 2". That area is really tight on convertibles for the spare. When I went to taller tires, my spare now hits the tail light cover. I wish I could just move it over 1/2".....YOU can "pick your spot" and that's what I'd recommend.
