Thought I would post some pics of what I just finished up. Saw one of these a couple of years ago and thought it was kind of neat. Been searching since then for a cheap tractor seat and finally got one for nothing a couple of weeks ago. A buddy had a 1970 426 Hemi crank and some 6 pack rods that were junk. I had a flywheel with a bunch of cracks. Cleaned everything up, welded together, and clear coated. Only downside is the weight of the thing. I need to find 'the' spot for it and leave it set.

very creative joel, maybe there is a market for those for people in the car man cave arena.

I'd have to have some wheels and a back rest on that puppy! Cool rig....and weight is at least 140 lbs!?

"It needs some wheels under it" is the first thing my wife said also. I'll weigh it tonight as I am curious too.

Not as bad as I thought it would be at 123.6 pounds. Still a load to move around.

Looks way cool but its going to hurt when you find it with your shins.

You could always use aluminum rods.......
