Who is going , and anyone familiar with the area as far as activities outside the car show

Looks like a beautiful area on the river - Must see s ?

Coming in a few days early

Yep will have 3 of our B bodies there. Not much to do or see around the area though. At least not for my taste.

Stillwater is a great town on the banks of the St Croix River. Lots of good restaurants and a lot of antique shops. It’s a nice venue to have a car show. Used to go when it was in Farmington but haven’t for a few years. I’m originally from Mpls

There's a ton of things to do there.
Myself I'm going to camp at Cedar Lake Speedway that's about 15 minutes away for the weekend and catch the races Saturday night and go back to the park Sunday. Free camping there, great racing then more Mopars what more could you ask for!!!

For the first time in many years I am off work this weekend, going to show up Friday, hang out Saturday and then the girls want to go to the freaking mall on Sunday, the price I pay for her to put up with my BS lol.

Hopefully the weather can cooperate

Heading out Thursday

We always stop at Leinenkugels on the way out first

Not going to make it to the new location this year. Make sure you guys post lots of pics.

I plan to be there this year. 20 minutes away for me across the border.
I'll be able to play the weather a little easier than the long commuters and Sunday looks the best so far.

Yes, there is plenty to do there. It's a river city. Across the border/river is Hudson which also has plenty to do.

Beautiful little town - Stillwater

Didn’t realize all the history with lumber until we took the trolley tour

Architecture around some of those old mansions that have been restored , phenomenal

Rented bikes and rode over the new bridge

Weather has been damn near perfect

Now to hit up the breweries and food

That'd be great to have one. I went today this morning from about 7 to just after 11am. Planning on going back tomorrow and see if there are any more parts venders who arrived.

The FABO guys are having a M&G tomorrow.

I went today, didn't bring the car. I thought the Farmington location was a lot better. It didn't seem like there was a lot of people or cars there today.

Well the heavy rain didn’t help Friday night - On top of all the rain this spring = Mud Dirt

Can’t control the weather - Mother Nature has been cruel this Winter/Spring

Could have been worse - It didn’t rain during the show - Weather and sun was abundant

Anyways

First new location learning curve I would assume

There was two separate car corrals for sale in different locations on the grounds

Heard lots of complaints about the roads / pot holes / where do we go

Obviously this new location is huge - Man I felt like I walked for miles - Maybe I did LOL

Was a little difficult getting my bearings straight - Could have been the heat , beer , or both

Friday felt like the Mopar Nationals in August

Was disappointed in the Mopar/Dodge FCA Display - Or lack there

Definitely the most low key I have seen in years - Don’t get it

The A12 Dispay WAS JUST INCREDIBLE - WOW

The 1969 Roadrunner Display WAS JUST INCREDIBLE - WOW

Honestly I Love This Show - These guys / gals do a incredible job every year - HATS OFF / THANK YOU !!!

All the cars leaving the show getting on the highway was awesome - Lots of smoke runs

Stillwater is beautiful - Spent a couple days sight seeing before the show

Sorry I didn’t snap pictures walking around

One more thing

When I was leaving Saturday Aft

They mentioned 1,000 Show Cars on the grounds

AWESOME

Any three day show , Sunday seems to bee pack up day

Iola WI Show doesn’t even operate on Sundays anymore
Th/Fr/Saturday

I remember the Mopar National s pretty low key on Sundays all those years also - Best day for deals

Was the 1st time I attended this show so I can't compare to previous years and I did not bring a car for the show, but we had a blast and will be back every year. The A12 & 69 RR displays were awesome and the swap was great.

I really enjoyed the show. Saw some really nice cars and had a really nice drive. Plymouth ran fantastic.
